In American Public Media's PIPEDREAMS broadcast Balint is interviewed by host Michael Barone, discussing the featured work "Consonances" -- Balint's concerto for full orchestra and organ. The work was commissioned for performance in the Bela Bartok National Concert Hall, Budapest, Hungary. Karosi himself is the organist in this concert recording from June 2007.
Barone introduces the concerto as "a really remarkable, challenging and wonderful new score."* Later in the program he describes it as "a gripping and colorful new concerto."
